Latin American Leadership Committee Elects New Vice-Chairman

On November 2, 2016 Georgetown’s Latin American Leadership Committee announced the appointment of Mr. León Patiño, Founder & V.P. for Legal and International Affairs at PALMCORP, as the new Committee Vice-Chairman. As Vice-Chairman, Mr. Patiño will play an essential role in the strategic outreach and promotion of the Committee’s leadership programs.

Mr. Patiño received his Master of Laws from Georgetown University, specializing in International Business and Economic Law.  In 2014, he founded PALMCORP, a holding company for operations in the Dominican Republic and the region.

We are very pleased with Mr. Patiño appointment to this important leadership role and we look forward to working with him and all members of the Committee in advancing the mission of Georgetown University’s Latin American Board through its programs and participants.
