Georgetown Latin American Conference 2016


Georgetown University’s Latin American Conference – Unleashing Innovation, took place on campus on November 4th, 2016. The event brought together prominent regional and local figures to discuss topics related to social entrepreneurship, the role of the private sector and innovative policy practices. The conference also enabled the exchange of ideas and experiences on three specific areas: financing innovation, social innovation, and policy innovation.

The event was organized by the Latin American Policy Association (LAPA) in collaboration with other on campus organization such as the Latin American Board (LAB), the Center for Latin American Studies (CLAS), the Latin America Initiative (LAI), Latin American Student Association (LASA), Latin American Business Association (LABA), among others.
