What we do

Georgetown University’s Latin America Leadership Program (LALP) designs and implements programs supported by Georgetown University’s Latin American Board that educate new generations of Ibero-American leaders active in the public and private sectors and civil society. Through programs administered in Latin America and in Washington, DC, the LALP creates deeper links between the region and the university’s mission of teaching and service to the common good. The LALP works closely with Georgetown University’s Center for Latin American Studies (CLAS) and with faculty and programs across the university in the pursuit of its mission that revolve around three strategic areas: Driving Latin American Engagement, Developing Impact Networks and Promoting Transformational Leadership.
